The delegation from the University of L’Aquila, Italy, included Professor Bruno Rubino, Vice Rector in charge of International Cooperation; Professor Matteo Colangeli; Professor Guido Proietti; Ms. Elena Santoro, Officer of the International Relations Office; Mr. Marco De Luca, Research Coordinator; Ms. Alice Persichetti, Officer of the RealMaths Center; and Mr. Danilo Larivera, Technical Officer.
Representing Thai Nguyen University of Education were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Xuan Truong, Rector of the University, together with leaders of various units across the University, including heads and deputy heads of academic faculties, representatives of functional departments, and lecturers from the Faculty of Mathematics.
In his welcoming remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Xuan Truong affirmed the importance of expanding the University’s international cooperation network, identifying this as a key task in improving the quality of education and scientific research. He emphasized that, as part of the University’s development strategy, the internationalization of education is one of its key priorities, aimed at enhancing the quality of training and scientific research while promoting integration with advanced education systems around the world. Establishing partnerships with prestigious European universities, including the University of L’Aquila, will provide favorable opportunities for lecturers and students to study and conduct research in advanced academic environments, while opening up numerous opportunities for professional and academic development.

Representing the University of L’Aquila, Professor Bruno Rubino, Vice Rector in charge of International Cooperation, expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome extended by Thai Nguyen University of Education and highly valued the potential for cooperation between the two institutions. Professor Bruno Rubino noted that Thai Nguyen University of Education has strong expertise in teacher education and educational research. This provides an important foundation for the two institutions to implement practical cooperation programs, particularly in academic exchange and interdisciplinary research. The University of L’Aquila will create the most favorable conditions for lecturers and students from Thai Nguyen University of Education to participate in exchange and research programs in Italy, while also promoting international joint research projects between the two institutions.

The working session and cooperation discussions concluded successfully, with both sides reaching a high level of consensus on future cooperation directions, particularly the implementation of an international joint program in Mathematics.
