Under the chairmanship of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Duc Nguyen - the TNUE Vice-Rector, the seminar listened to 5 presentations focusing on defining the competencies of teachers in Education 4.0, in which emphasis on soft skills, judgmental competence, critical thinking, quantitative thinking, adaptive capacity, failure-based experiential teaching, online learning assessment, STEM education and technology integration in teaching ... The report of the Australian research team focuses on assessing the concept of "learning journey" and "life experience" of learners throughout the online learning process. Project-based teaching methods are very important in Education 4.0. The issue of integrating soft skills development into the teaching curriculum was also actively discussed. Besides, delegates attending the seminar also discussed the change in the role of the teacher, the change in teaching theory to be suitable for Education 4.0 (behavioral theory, constructivism, and connection theory in teaching), in which soft skills, online interaction between learners, and learning resources are very important. Many lively exchanges and discussions from more than 80 participants from the online spots contributed to clarifying the challenges and trends for the implementation of Education 4.0 in Vietnam.
