To develop high-level teachers for globalization and increasing requirements for education and training, international cooperation activities at TNUE are diverse, with a large number of collaborative training and research programs, which reflects the university’s strength and cooperative willingness. Thai Nguyen University of Education – Thai Nguyen University has been committed to building long-term, trustworthy partnerships with international partners, prestigious institutions and research institutions as well as with large domestic and national businesses and organizations.  Different types of cooperation are as follows:

• Cooperation in scientific research and technology transfers such as mutual projects, academic articles publication;
• International cooperation in high-quality undergraduate and graduate training programs;
• Organizing international conferences, seminars, and exhibitions that focus on teacher education renovation, curriculum development, online teaching, entrepreneurship education,…
• Students and staff exchange to adopt the requirements of globalization and the new education program.

Benefit from the collaboration programs with valuable international partners, TNUE has well organized many international activities with worthwhile achievements:

• Organizing 05 international conferences and above 20 workshops during the past 5 years;
• Conducting a variety of international research projects of high quality, with 01 projects funded by the US, 01 project funded by Enabel  (Belgium) (Facility for Capacity Building project), 01 collaborative projects funded by Nuffic (Profession Oriented Higher Education – POHE), and 01 projects funded by World Bank (Enhancing Teacher Education Program) during the past 10 years.

• Finding a large number of scholarships, and exchange programs for students and lecturers. Every year, there are approximate:
  • 50 incoming delegates and visiting professors for international collaboration, specialized and English teaching.
  • Above 200 international students (China, Mongolian, Laos…) studying at TNUE through exchange and agreement programs.

Promoting the education collaboration between TNUE and partner universities while above 20 MoU have been signed during the past 5 years.
