TNUE announces some of the contents in university admission in 2020 as follows:

1. Admission types: 03

a) Direct Admission:

- According to the Admission Regulation of the MOET, directly recruiting candidates who participated in the international Olympics; who won prizes in the National Excellent Student Contest or the National Science and Technology Contest; who won medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze) in annual national first-class championships; who was recognized by the General Department of Sports and Sports as a national grandmaster or a level 1 athlete (see Appendix 1).

- Specialized students in the provinces and cities with excellent academic result from high school would be admitted to the appropriate major (see Appendix 1).

- Students who won prizes in the provincial excellent student examination and graduated from high school with excellent academic result would be admitted directly to the appropriate major.

- Candidates who won prizes in the provincial sports competitions and graduated from high school with good academic result would be admitted directly to the Physical Education Programme.

- Candidates who won prizes in provincial art competitions and graduated from high school with excellent academic result would be admitted directly to the preschool education Programme.

b) Admission according to the results of the high school graduation exam: Admission of all training programmes according to the high school graduation exam results. Admission groups for each programme are in Appendix 2.

c) Examination according to academic transcripts: Admission is based on the academic result in Semester I, Semester II of Grade 11 and Semester 1 of Grade 12 for all programme. Admission groups for each programme  are in Appendix 2.

2. Input quality assurance threshold

a) Admission according to the result of high school graduation exam: Quality assurance threshold (smallest score) is prescribed by the MOET (in 2019 it was 18.0 points)

b) Examination according to academic transcripts: Grade 12 academic result ranked EXCELLENT.

c) Requirement for Physical Education Programme: Male with height of 1.62m or more, weight 45 kg or more; Female height from 1.52m or more, weighing 40 kg or more; good body without deformities (check height, weight when candidates enroll).

3. Admission in new programmes to meet the renovation of general education

a) Natural Science Education trains teachers in the fields of Natural Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) at secondary schools under the new general education program; Up to now, there has not been any programmes training teachers in the fields of Natural Science in Vietnam. Therefore, candidates enrolled in this programme would have more opportunities for job.

b) Psychology Education (majoring in School Psychology) trains school counselors and career counselors at schools, ... School psychology is an issue which is much concerned by society. As a regulation by MOET, high schools must have teachers who work as school counselors, the employment opportunities of graduates in Psychology Education are very promising.

c) Education Management trains teachers who work in institutions for training and retraining of educational administrators; trains research staff who work in educational institutions; Graduates from Education Management can work as an educational administrator, consultant and educational assistant in political, cultural, social organizations, unions, businesses, non-public educational institutions and international organizations in Vietnam;
