Summer Camp at Beibu Gulf University, China: A Meaningful Cultural Exchange

From June 23–29, 2025, a delegation of staff, lecturers, students, and pupils from Thai Nguyen University of Education joined a summer camp at Beibu Gulf University, China. The program strengthened ties between the two institutions while offering participants opportunities to study, exchange, and experience Chinese culture.

Over the week, the delegation took part in diverse activities such as basic Chinese lessons, traditional singing, dumpling-making, Chinese knot-tying, Tai Chi, pottery, calligraphy, tea culture, and cultural tours to Qinzhou Ancient Town, Liu Yongfu’s old house, and Tam Nuong Bay.

Students actively engaged in all activities, gaining more confidence in communication, enriching their cultural knowledge, and creating lasting memories. Many shared that the camp inspired them in both learning and cultural appreciation.

The program not only enhanced skills and understanding but also deepened cooperation between the two universities. It also gave Thai Nguyen University students the chance to introduce Vietnam’s culture and people to international friends.
