On February 21, 2024, The delegation of Hebei University of Foreign Studies, China visited and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Thai Nguyen University of Education (TNUE)

Leaders of the two Universities attended the meeting and ceremony. Leaders of TNUE: Associate Professor Ha Tran Phuong - Secretary of the University Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Associate Professor Mai Xuan Truong, Rector; Associate Professor Tu Quang Tan, Vice Rector and representatives of the Departments: Science - Technology and International Cooperation, Training Affairs, Student Affairs, and Administration - Organization, Faculty of Literature.

Hebei University of Foreign Studies: Mr. Ton Kien Trung - Chairman of the University Council, Rector; Ms. Tap Vi - Vice Chairwoman of the University Council, Executive Rector; Mr. Tran Vi - Vice Rector, Head of Cooperation and Development Department, Ms. Khau Lap Binh - Head of Vietnamese Department, Faculty of International Language Education and Ms. Diem Tran Tran - Chief of Office.

At the meeting, the two sides briefly introduced the university development history, training program, teaching staff, facilities and development strengths of the institution.

Associate Professor Ha Tran Phuong said that Hebei University of Foreign Studies, China was a beautiful, modern university with great development orientation that TNUE was looking forward to promoting cooperation in training and scientific research. TNUE hoped that, through the meeting, the two sides could promote cooperation in fields of mutual interest, especially Vietnamese language training and fostering for foreigners.

Mr. Ton Kien Trung -Chairman of the University Council, Rector of Hebei University of Foreign Studies in China said that the two universities had signed a memorandum of understanding in China in 2019. However, the cooperation encountered many difficulties due to impact of the COVID-19 epidemic. This visit and business trip of the leaders of Hebei University of Foreign Studies was carried out with the desire to further strengthen cooperative activities in the coming time.

To have a legal basis for implementing cooperation, representatives of the two universities signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the following content: implementing activities to exchange lecturers and students; Training Vietnamese language specialists, coordinating the implementation of research topics and projects, organizing short-term programs for students…

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Ton Kien Trung expressed his thanks for the thoughtful and enthusiastic welcome of Thai Nguyen University of Education and wished the cooperative relationship between the two universities to further develop.
