On March 6, 2023, Professor Khan Noureen Ara, Director of the IPSS STEM Project, lecturer of University of North Texas at Dallas, USA, expert from the Fulbright Program had a meeting with the Vice-Rector of Thai Nguyen University of Education
As the teaching schedule, Professor Khan Noureen Ara is carrying out professional activities at TNUE from March 6, 2023 to March 24, 2023: with the focuses on consulting on the development of the training program for teacher of Math; participating in teaching and consulting on mathematics; Math teaching methods for students, organizing professional seminars on STEM Education, developing Applied Mathematics, teaching math methods for high school students.
At the meeting, Dr. Tu Quang Tan, Vice Rector reports that TNUE has successfully organized a number of language and cultural summer camps for students of St. John's University with support from the Fulbright program, USA. These activities have helped students of the two countries exchange, enhance understanding of cultural diversity, improve foreign language ability and global integration. Dr. Tu Quang Tan sends his sincere thanks to the Program and Professor Khan Noureen Ara, believes that, through this mission, the expert will share useful experiences in developing Math training programs, projects on STEM education with staff, lecturers and students.
Prof. Khan Noureen Ara thanks the enthusiastic and warm welcome of TNUE staff, lecturers and students. She reaffirms that she will do her best to give advice on the changing and updating the Math curriculum, finding directions for developing STEM projects with new trends, and connect and expand the network for math and STEM research groups.
