Learning Outcomes of Master in Inorganic Chemistry 

2. Expected Learning Outcomes

2.1. Knowledge

a. General knowledge

- Having knowledge of contemporary social issues.

- Having advanced knowledge of basic science, advanced and modern knowledge of Chemistry and other related scientific fields.

- Having the ability to practice well, the ability to grasp the development of science - technology and the economy - society.

- Having the ability to develop and solve professional and practical problems in the field of Chemistry.

b. Professional knowledge

- Having knowledge of chemical science and inorganic chemistry.

- Having the ability to practice well, the ability to grasp the development of science - technology and economy - society.

- Having the ability to develop and solve several professional and practical problems in the field of Inorganic Chemistry.

- Having the basic knowledge of the inorganic chemistry major, such as: Advanced complex chemistry, Advanced inorganic materials, Molecular structure of inorganic compounds, Application of some physical and chemical methods in inorganic chemistry, advanced inorganic chemistry.

c. Requirements for thesis

- Thesis must be independent scientific research work with new contributions to the solving of posed scientific, experimental, or practical problems, additionally, the thesis has a contribution to science and practice in the field of Inorganic Chemistry.

- Research results of the thesis must be the research results obtained by the author during the training period. If the results from other people's material are used in the thesis, the thesis must obtain consent to cite it.

- Thesis must demonstrate a deep understanding of students' specialized knowledge and research methods in solving research tasks that the topic poses. The thesis must be a creative scientific work of the students themselves, making a new theoretical and practical contribution to the research field.

2.2. Skills

a. Hard skills

- Having skills to detect and solve problems arising in Chemistry science; having skills to guide professional activities; having practical skills to meet the needs of renewing teaching content and methods in colleges and high schools.

- Self-study skills, self-research, thinking skills, critical skills, self-improvement in scientific research, and in professional work.

  - Having the ability to be independent in research, know how to apply the knowledge of organic chemistry in solving practical problems.

- Using foreign languages to exchange academic expertise, read and translate documents.

b. Soft skills

- Having skills for teamwork, persuasive communication skills, cooperation with colleagues.

- Know how to plan, organize, coordinate, and mobilize resources to participate in solving work.

- Self-assessment of strengths and weaknesses in qualities and capacities of themselves, on that basis, compared with work requirements and practical requirements to plan self-training and capacity development.

2.3. Capacity

a. Job position

- To be a chemistry teacher in schools, international schools, colleges, and universities;

- To be a researcher in a research center or institute of chemistry and institute of educational science;

- To be an expert, an officer, or a manager in schools, universities, and Departments of Education and Training.

- Graduates may continue studying doctoral in the country or abroad.

 - To work in companies or fields of work-related to chemistry.
