Expected Program Learning Outcomes (ELOs)

          After graduation, students have ability to:

1. Knowledge

1.1. General knowledge

ELO1. Understand and apply the basic knowledge of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's Ideology, Revolutionary Directions of the Vietnamese Communist Party, Vietnamese Law, National Defense and Security in occupational activities and life.

ELO2. Understand and apply the basic knowledge of Psychology, Pedagogics and School Management in organizing activities in teaching chemistry and organizing educational activities at schools.

1.2. Professional knowledge

ELO3. Apply basic knowledge and in-depth professional knowledge of Inorganic chemistry, Organic chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry in teaching chemistry and organizing experiential activities for high school students.

ELO4. Apply the knowledge of chemical practicum in teaching chemistry and organizing experiential activities for students at high school.

ELO 5. Apply basic research methods in the natural sciences and chemical education; Using research results to contribute to the renovation of the teaching and learning process.

2. Skills

2.1. General skills

ELO 6. Communicating effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and others related.

ELO7. Counseling and supporting students in teaching, educating and vocational training.

ELO8.  Obtaining a qualification in Informatics such as IC³, ICDL, MOS or equivalence. Applying the information skills to design, organize, evaluate teaching activities and scientific research.  

ELO 9.  Obtain a certificate in English at Level B1 of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and use English proficiency in communication.

ELO10.  Perform self-occupational experiential activities to look for opportunities for “ Startup”  and lead others to look for opportunities for “Startup”

2.2. Professional skills

ELO11. Perform proficiently the teaching methods in chemistry, the methods, forms, and techniques of assessment toward the orientation of students’ competence development and progress. Resolve situations occurring in the teaching and learning activities.

ELO12. Perform proficiently the chemical experiments in teaching Chemistry, natural scientific subject at high school.

ELO13. Perform proficiently methods of guiding students to research in the field of chemistry and natural sciences at high school.

3. Autonomy and responsibility capacity

ELO14. Understand and perform correctly the moral principles for teachers and democratic regulations in schools.

ELO15. Work independently and work with a team a changeable working environment, with personal responsibility and responsibility for the group; Show the individual ideas on issues that need to be resolved.

ELO16. Perceive the demand and design a plan for lifelong learning.
