3. Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

   After graduation, students should meet the following expected learning outcomes:

3.1. Knowledge

3.1.1. To understand and apply the basic knowledge of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's Ideology, the Revolutionary Directions of the Vietnamese Communist Party, Vietnamese Law, National Defense and Security in their occupational activities and life.

3.1.2.  To apply the knowledge of mathematics and natural sciences (Science, Biology, Earth Science, ...) to fulfill the requirements for teaching Natural Science in high schools.

3.1.3.  To understand and analyze the basic knowledge systems of modern chemistry: chemical elements, chemical substances, chemical reactions, concepts, laws, basic theories in chemistry, condensation and dispersing system in chemistry, ... To applying the above scientific knowledge to real work and life.

 3.1.4. To apply the knowledge of educational psychology, education, pedagogical skills, ... to solve as well the tasks of the teacher.

3.1.5. To understand and analyze the scientific knowledge system of theory and teaching methodology of chemistry. Applying that knowledge to perform as well the task of teaching Chemistry and teaching Natural Science in high schools, the requirements for renovation of general education.

3.1.6. Ability to use English in simple communication and reading comprehension in the field of chemistry, to obtain a certificate in English at level to A2 of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

3.1.7. Having knowledge and computer skills meeting the standards of basic information technology skills according to the Circular No. 03/2014 / TT-BTTTT dated March 11, 2014 of the Ministry of Information and Communications or obtaining a computer certificate IC3, or ICDL.

3.2. Occupational skill requirements

3.2.1. Main skills

- To present an issue of chemistry.

- To proficient in chemical language.

- To perform chemical experiments.

- To proficient in chemical calculation.

- To apply chemical knowledge to solving practical problems, applying the achievements of modern chemistry to serve production, life and scientific research activities.

3.2.1.2. Professional practice skills

- Analyzing the content of the teaching program

 - Prepare a teaching plan

- Design and organize teaching activities.

- Applying the typical teaching methods, means and forms of teaching of the subject.

- Deploying integrated teaching and individual teaching in chemistry teaching in high schools.

3.2.2. Soft skills

3.2.2.1. Career self-development skills Ability to self-study, self-study and apply knowledge into practice.

3.2.2.2 Communication skills

- Communicate with learners and colleagues at work;

- Handling pedagogical situations;

- Communicate with educational forces outside the school;

- Reasonable combination of verbal and non-verbal communication means to attract students; determine the aspirations and interests of students to control and adjust the educational process.

3.2.2.3. Teamwork skill

- To know how to consult with group members

- Can persuade, work cooperatively with team members to complete work individually and collectively

- To know to share information with members of the group

- To know how to help team members

- To know how to learn in groups to complete tasks

- To knowing how to touch and persuade group members for the purpose of student education.

3.2.2.4. Foreign language skills

 - To use English in simple communication.

- To read professional documents in English.

3.2.2.5. Computer skills Proficient in office computing at work.

3.3. Requirements for ethical qualities

3.3.1. Political quality, civic responsibility

- To strictly comply with the Party's lines and undertakings, the policies and laws of the State of Vietnam.

- Patriotic, have a sense of civic responsibility towards social and national issues, actively participate in community development, comply with laws and regulations of all levels of education management.

3.3.2. Ethical qualities and professional manners

- Respect learners, accept professional ethical standards, have a spirit of cooperation with colleagues and build a friendly, positive working environment, have a sense of professional self-esteem, pedagogical style ink.

- Honesty in career and in life.

3.3.3. Ability to update knowledge and creativity at work Having a sense of regularly updating scientific knowledge of Chemistry and innovating teaching methods in the subject.
